That was fun!! Great effort from all. Looks like we are going to have pretty much a 7 man rotation. Slawson looks like a different player. Hard to believe we were up 6 at the half and Hunter and Gurley were scoreless. Mounce and Lyons with huge games. Great start to the season. It was a great atmospheres, one of the best I have seen.

Slawson had 14 points! It’s honestly remarkable what a difference a year makes. He’s going to be so good. Technical on dunk was questionable at best.

Mounts and Lyons were impressive. Lyons driving to the hole is so fun to watch. He’s taken his game to another level this year.

Bothwell will be an all conference player his last two years.

Loyola is not the team they were two years ago, but that’s still an impressive win, especially by 24.

This team is special. And the schedule is very favorable to open. Should be 7-1 or 8-0 heading out of November.

Loyola's success in recent years has been built on a low turnover rate, deliberate, efficient offense, and intense defensive rebounding. They were OK with the second two but we ripped the offense with good defensive pressure and shot well enough to make their defensive rebounding almost meaningless. We had a huge advantage in fast break points.

Did not expect the margin, although I felt good before the game about our winning chances.
