Admittedly, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to Boiling Springs, NC but what’s there that can lure kids from NYC and Miami?

And I know it’s a misprint but it’d be pretty cool if Bill Raftery Jim Nance and Grant Hill we’re there to call this game.

Nothing has changed. An Ingles, CVS, and Hardees. One redlight, maybe 2. Pretty much like NYC.

Damn fine win on the road at a tough opponent. Didn’t lose at home at all last year and only have 2 losses in like 27 games.

Plenty to work on, rebounds most important, but I was very impressed. Gurley could be the best player in SoCon. Offensive efficiency was remarkable for him, and hit from inside and outside. My favorite thing I saw though was Hunter being willing to shoot ... and hitting them. He looked good. If he can keep that up this team will be tough to beat.

Love this team! Shots were off, hosed on the road by refs and still built a 14 point lead at one point. Great defensive intensity in 2nd half.

The play of the game was the 3 point play tip-in by Mounce with 2:37 left when we were only up 60-58 ending a 12-0 GW run.

A good win when we did not have a good night shooting the 3.

Actually, there have been a couple of changes. A second red light was added after crowds watching the first one change on Saturday nights got so large the second was necessary. There were rumors of a third, but the town council voted it down.

Back in the 60s, the "Welcome to Boiling Springs" and the "Boiling Springs says Good-Bye" signs were on the same post. Now they're about a half-mile apart.
