Looking forward to Roundball this year. It's a great way to support the program, get to know the players and coaches on in a more personal way, and have great fellowship with other Furman basketball fans. Below is the e-mail. Contact Jon for the registration form.

"Hello to both current and former Roundball Club members!

We are incredibly excited to start the season as our practices are just over halfway complete. To kick off the season, if you are looking to join the 2019-20 Roundball Club we would like to invite you to our annual Roundball Club Opening Dinner, located in the Thirsty Paladin, on Tuesday October 29th at 7:00pm. We will have food catered and enjoy an evening together, introducing you to our team, staff, and insights as to what the year ahead may hold!

Please plan on joining us on 10/29 at 7:00pm at Timmons Arena to kick off our season together! Please RSVP by Friday, October 25th so we can get an accurate head count for food and beverages.

If you would like to join and have not already, or if you have a contact you believe would like to join, please refer to the attached registration form. This email was sent to current and former Roundball Club members – if you have already joined for this year we’d like to thank you for your continued support.

Look forward to seeing you all soon!"

All DIN,

Jon D’Angelo

Thanks, Gman. It would be great to see some new folks in the Roundball Club; we actually had a number of new folks last year. I have been a member since Niko's second year, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Well, truth be told, it can be tough to see how hard our coaches take a loss; we sometimes see that at the lunch meeting right after that loss. But on the other end is the joy of beating your rival...of winning. And seeing everything in between.

It's fun and something I look forward to every Fall. Our first meeting is 10/29/19.

If one is unable to get to many of the meetings, I assume it would be better to send the same money to the Men’s BB improvement fund. Would that be correct? I would love to be in the Roundball Club but unfortunately don’t see any way to get there often enough to make it worth my while to put the money there.

Any monies not spent on the lunches goes directly to the basketball program.

Not sure this is time for me to do this (starting a new business) but I really want to join.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
