The Furman women held their Purple and White scrimmage game today and it was simply outstanding. This team is returning virtually all of their team from last season that came within a bucket of winning the SoCon championship. Not only have many of the returning players improved from last season but they have been bolstered by a trio of outstanding freshmen as well. Jackie Carson has the deepest and most talented team I have seen in 10 years.Competition for playing time will be fierce and will result in an outstanding rotation. The Lady Dins have been picked to win the league and today's scrimmage showed why. Should be some fun at Timmons this year.
