Grainger has looked as bad today as he has looked good in earlier games. I am totally SHOCKED ay the contrast.
Another example of fans getting the cart before the horse and not taking the season one game at a time. Everybody does it but you would think folks would learn.
We still control our own destiny as far as winning the conference and getting the automatic playoff bid.
Hoping for a miracle comeback.

I said this on the AGS, but Grainger looks like a baseball player on a cold day that can't find his release point. DG obviously is having a bad game. The coaches had a bad game too. We want back to throwing on first down that killed 3 straight drives. Didn't do that against Sammy but did against ETSU. The 3 third and ones were just awful play calls. A delayed handoff 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage on third and one? If a=I am in defense I am begging you to call that. Conference is now wide open. Pretenders have become contenders after this game but Woffy now becomes the odds on favorite. They took care of business today and we didn't.

Prolly won't until the last game against Citadel. There were so many times today where we just did not defend the option well. I remember in the past one year against Ga Southern we were amazing at that. Could somebody explain to me why when we play the option every year that some years we seem to defend it so well and others years not-so-well. Is it mistakes by our players, a lack of speed, not playing assignment football, great blocks by them, great decisions by their QB, etc. or all of the above? Just surprised that when we killed Wofford last year that we struggled on defense today.
SHOCKED that any team would go for it on 4th and 2 at their own 19 yard line-regardless of how much confidence you have. I mean if they miss that, we make it 7-6 at a minimum. They must have seen something where they were 99% sure they could get it.

We were badly out coached and out quarterbacked today. This staff is great at building a program and elevating our recruiting. They are not great at X’s and O’s. That was obvious today and has been shown in previous games this season. ETSU comes to mind.
Our QB had a very bad day as well. Also obvious. We supposedly have a very high quality backup who nearly won the starting job and yet, no appearance?
We have a very good team who is going to win more games this year but improvement is certainly called for in many areas. I hope that will happen.

agree. Woff did that last year and we ate it up.
