Citadel plays an attacking style of defense. We're going to have to complete some passes and force those guys to get off the line.

Unfortunately, this is exactly the sort of game the Citadel wants to be playing. Furman's offense has looked decent, just need to stop getting behind the chains.

We could be getting beat 28-3-two fumbles inside 20 for Citadel and the pass play the announcers thought could have been a TD.

Us calling our last TO when we did retrospectively was a mistake that could have burned us. No reason to call that when we did.

Our passing game has been completely non-existent.

Lucky to be down only 7-3 at half. Can’t let Citadel score before we do in 2nd half.

Offense needs to get it together at halftime. Thank goodness for 3 turnovers or we’d be in big trouble!

This is a similar feel to the ETSU game. We've got room to run and receivers running open, we just aren't getting the ball to them.

Our offensive line has played well and is collapsing their defensive front and opening cut back lanes. We've got to get better on third down and start completing some passes.

Hopefully this is just rust from the off week. The Citadel came to play today and our defense is keeping us in it. Our offense needs to show up in the second half.

Very good observation on the wasted timeout to setup a punt. We could’ve thrown in the middle of the field on the final drive if that was still in hand. The wasn’t a good decision.

It’s an odd game for sure. We can run in chunks at times but can’t convert in short yardage. I’m hopeful that if we can break a big play in the third quarter, it will open up the offense again.

The citadel isn't concerned with our passing game. They are loading up front. Same thing ETSU did.

You are not a good team when go -6 yards on 3 third and ones. Play calling was awful and and execution worse. Who would have thought the Citadel would be a better passing team than FU. Not even close. DG obviously doesn't like playing unless it is sunny.
