Unless the weather geeks totally miss it(still possible) tomorrow's game will be played in miserable conditions. Why is it that football games never get postponed? Sunday's wether is supposed to be perfect. Why do you never see a change in football? Not talking necessarily about FU although we are in a perfect position to delay kickoff 24 hours but why are kickoff times never changed except maybe for a hurricane?

My opinion... because why not? It's not like golf where poor weather drastically impacts the game. If I were a player, I wouldn't want it every game, but I'd kind of enjoy it getting nasty every once in a while. There's something satisfying about poor weather games for me, and I'd guess for the players, as well.... battling it out in the trenches in the mud and getting dirty and wet. It's a battle, and you don't cancel on account of rain. It's less about the fans who want to sit in comfy seats and watch, more about the battle on the field.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
