I was going to ask the same question. I didn't see Maples either.

CCH also mentioned this in his post-game interview - am I the only one that keeps listening after the game

Blackshear RSFR got his first start, I thought played well in a tough matchup. GSU, by the way, had very good receivers with size. Clay also mentioned we had only one fullback - Abrams - tonight. Also, every time I looked Chizik was in the game.

Just my observation from the game.

Maples did not play. I didn't even see him on the sideline. McElveen, I think, was the #2 RB.

Austin Jones was in street clothes.

Corey Watkins obviously played.

Amir Trapp started and played most of the first half, but Cally Chizik played most of the second half and returned punts. Maybe Trapp sustained an injury.

Didn't see Weems.

Thanks jackal ! You are right about McElveen. He had a carry.
Hope Trapp is OK. We lost him for some games last year

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
