Hmmmm..... I’m guessing it’s just on oversight. Pretty sure he will begin camp at QB

I agree with you, especially since there is a blank by his name rather than a new position. We were given to believe that he came to FU for the opportunity to play QB and I don't think CCH would go back on that. Besides, this is not the time of year for position changes. That usually happens with the coming of the practice session. However, it is possible that something has occurred to remove him from the QB competition. We'll know for sure in about a month.

I just have a hard time believing that Bryce McCormick's position still seems undecided but in 4 weeks Shiflett went from a QB transfer to a Safety.

I checked with sports info on Shiflett and was told he is a QB, which I see is now how he is listed.

Hope Shiflett and Grainger and Sisson are QBs - we need 3 good for good depth. That said, it's a shame all are nearly the same year (Shiflett Sophomore, Grainger and Sisson are R-Fr).

Grainger only has the one year of QB in HS which is a lot less experience in total. Think about that - this is only Grainger's 3rd year at QB as a R-Fr. Most guys would be in their 6th year ! (4 HS and 2 college)

I think that the site looks great with one area of exception. I think that the photos in the Facilities section look horrible. PS is such an impressive facility yet one little mini photo looks incredibly inadequate. How about a few larger pics that better convey this impressive facility. The same gripe actually goes to the other venues as well. Both the soccer and baseball stadium photos are the same mini unimpressive display. This is an area of the site where lots of recruits and parents sssgravitate to early on when they know little or nothing about FU. While are facilities are very impressive in person, this web site is doing us no favors.
I would agree. Come on guys, we can do better.

Agree. It’s an arms race and if we can’t get them on campus (kids who look at the site because they live at distance) we have already lost...

Clemson owes a lot of their success to that crazy palace they have over there.

Please put some nice pictures of the facilities

I really feel like Furman's sports information department is underrated for all they do...I've said it many times...Hunter Reid is the best out there...Jordan Caskey is also one of the best...These two handle Furman's major sports, and I couldn't think of anyone better to take on the task!

The whole point of Shiflett transferring was to play quarterback...He's not playing safety...He would have stayed at MTSU otherwise...He was already WR there.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
