Is this in regard to Perry from last month or someone else?
Sounds like Tyler Murray is going to Lipscomb with their new coach Lennie Acuff, who BR has referred to many times as his mentor. BR was even quoted on the press release from Lipscomb when he got the job. Clearly BR has his hand in this one.
Tyler Murray was one of the three finalists for the head job at Lander. They hired Drew Richards, associate head coach at D2 UNC-Pembroke.
I would have liked to see Lennie Acuff get his D-1 shot in the Southern Conference. The cost of success I suppose. I liked Tyler a lot. His Dad was at all the games; enjoyed getting to know him and his family.
At least it seems there is no shortage of good new assistant candidates knocking on our door
