His passion and work ethic are unmatched

I hope that we max him out on salary and years to the best of our ability, there should be no doubt on our end who we want as our coach long term moving forward, this guy can take us to the promised land!

He's so quotable...You want to go to his press conferences because he speaks wisdom...I always look forward to hearing what he has to say...How can you not be motivated for anything around that guy.

He's practically just half my age, but I hang on his every word. The guy is a certifiable gem.

I am afraid we will not be able to keep him. There are already several coaches that have been let go at bigger schools. I am not sure he will be back next year which would be devastating. I would say it's 50/50 at best.

And this is based on what evidence other than there have been multiple P5 coaches let go...which happens every year?

The Promised Land would be getting FIVE SoCon Tourney championships and FIVE NCAA tourney appearances and at least 2 NCAA tourney game wins between now and end of the 2029 season.
(We are not asking for Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4, Championship game, or Championship.)
Yes, he can get us to that Promised Land.
We just need to keep him for the next 10 seasons.

I have not been more high on any coach Furman has ever had in any sport. I would vote for him for President of the School. That he can coach basketball is an added plus. Seriously, a guy who is a great life coach as well as basketball coach.

This season drew a lot of attention to FU and CBR. They will be coming for him for sure. FU has shown no ability to keep hot coaches in football or basketball.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
