Maybe it's a make-up for St. Mary's recent tourney snub.

And to state the obvious: this doesn't help us.

Until tonight Gonzaga had trailed a total of 30 minutes the whole season. They equalled that tonight against an average team. It hurts several teams as St. Mary's would not have gotten an at-large team. Love what Dickie V said tonight he said the committee keeps rewarding mediocrity. He proposes to give 28 of the at-large bids to power conferences and 8 to mid-majors. He also said if you ahve 13-14-15 losses you don't deserve to be in. What I've been saying all alone.

FYI- I thought about a makeup of St. Mary's recent snub also.

Interesting to see Darian DeVries of Drake on the list. That makes two recent and immediate successors to Niko as finalists. I've got to think that bodes well for him also.
