Said this earlier, but I'd much rather face Mercer than whichever team came out of the Samford/Citadel matchup. Mercer is more consistent than those teams, but probably isn't as dangerous as either of those two can be on any given night.

Wofford immediately jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first half which they extended to as much as 22, but VMI came back and cut it to 8. Magee hit his first three pointer of the game at the buzzer to give the Terriers a 48-37 halftime lead. The first 5 minutes of the second half could be key to this game. If VMI can continue to cut into the margin Wofford could be sweating.

And so we shall see as ETSU holds-off Chatt 64-68. My money's on ETSU fans in the battle of the stands. They're tougher.

I really don't see it as sad just a fact. Not many peeps are going to drive 7 hours, spend money on a 7th place team that has little to no chance of winning.

I’m telling you, this is a good team. They can beat UNCG.
I think they are a good team and certainly capable of beating any of the SoCon teams.
