Interesting read. It's still hard (getting easier though with national attention) to imagine a scenario where two SoCon teams make it, much less three, but the fact that people are talking about it makes it fun to dream. I think to get three you would definitely need Furman to win the title (that Samford loss jumps out big time), UNCG to lose in the finals after winning out in the regular season and Wofford to lose in OT to one of the two in the semis after dropping just one game (to UNCG) the rest of the way. I guess if a lot of the conference tourneys are chalk and a few of the big boys slip over the next few weeks, it's possible. But seems so incredibly unlikely.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
