For each year:
—Number of members
—Number of dollars.
Also, I’d like to know the all-time record number of members and dollars.
At the very least, I’d like to know it for 2018-2019 plus the previous 4 years.
How are we doing, compared to our previous years and compared to schools reasonably comparable to us?

So that was good, FOR CERTAIN (in relative terms), but the question ALSO FOR CERTAIN, remains for 2018-2019. (The year that judged ended, 33 days ago.). In another thread (“A.D. Search”) about 2 weeks ago, I brought up that Holy Cross has set new records with giving dollars and members, $2.1 million and 4,700 members, 2018-2019. Now I’ve learned that another school very similar to us, Bucknell, also has set all-time records in dollars this year, 2018-2019, $2.7 million, with 100% participation by this year’s graduates who were scholarship athletes on all teams. Additionally, today I read that CofC has set all-time records this year, 2018-2019, with the >$3 million this year being not only a record but also the first time they’ve ever surpassed $1 million. CofC is not as similar to us as Holy Cross and Bucknell are, but CofC is in our state with a generally similar sports program to ours except lack of football. So did we have a really mediocre or even bad Paladin Club year this year, in comparison to these record-breaking peers? If so, why are we not bringing in better support than we are? I think I recall recently seeing that WCU had a very good athletics fund-raising year also. Yes, our new AD plans to tackle this. We evidently need him to do that. We evidently need our alumni and local supporters to get their support up to similar levels as have been achieved by these several other example schools I have mentioned. We need to catch up, keep up, get ahead, and stay ahead. If we were $1.33 million last year, we should have broken that record with at least $1.4 million. Unless the economy tanks sooner than expected, we should be at least at the $1.5 million level by the end of 2019-2020 (less than 11 months from now). And we need to get to at least 1500 donors/members by that time.

Keep in mind that we have many folks that are designating funds for certain sports. I think those donations can still go through the Paladin Club, but some are not giving in that manner.

Am I not correct that you and the article are still talking about 2017-2018, and not about 2018-2019?
Also, these 6.457 million and 4.97 million include more than just unrestricted annual giving to Paladin Club. Restricted giving, capital projects giving, endowments, and planned giving, though all these are WONDERFUL and greatly needed, are not the unrestricted annual giving. That was 1.33 million.
$67,000 is the yearly cost to attend Furman now. $28,000 apparently is the “average” yearly cost after financial aid.
