Pretty good effort by a young Furman team against the number 2 LAX team in the country. Game was closer than the 17-9 final. FU was worn down by a very talented team after hanging close throughout most of the first half. The Dins unveiled some very promising Freshmen talent as well. Face offs continue to be a problem. They got 2/3's of the FO's and that put us at a big disadvantage but against a strong team like DUKE that was not all that bad. Next up is North Carolina, another perennial contender for national honors.
