Furman will face Rice in the first round of the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championships. Rice is coached by former LSU coach Brian Lee. Coach Lee is a Furman Alum and also was the first coach of the women’s soccer program at FU. He was a 5x Socon Coach of the Year. Both our mens and women’s programs have been blessed with outstanding coaches who have continued to win year after year.These programs have been a model of what Furman is capable of producing in its athletic programs.
