With the win today and Citadels loss to UNCG the Paladins can finish no worse than 7th and thus have avoided the play in game. Could finish as high as 5th or 6th but not very likely. Currently 1 game behind Mercer and ETSU and the good news is the 'dins hold the tiebreaker against both but the bad news is the Paladins finish with #1 UNCG(18-3) and Mercer has the Citadel while ETSU has Wofford so chances of moving up are not very likely. Finishing 6th or 7th is actually better than 5th since you would avoid UNCG for another game.
