Dominated by 2 WCU pitchers the last 2 games that had one win each before FU and their combined ERA was 16. Today's pitcher had a 1-10 record and an ERA of 8+. Would have been shutout but for a Deon Sanders PH HR in the 9th. If there was any hope for this team it has pretty much gone by the wayside although baseball is a funny game. Last place WCU doubled their SoCon wins in the last 24 hours from 2-4 at the 'Dins expense.

Lots of chatter for the whole game from the WCU dugout.
Not so much from the Paladins.
Makes me think that something is amiss.
Sat game was an enigma. For the first few innings, our pitcher served up lots of hard hit balls. From 5-7 he was VERY tough. Still, we held them to 2 runs, and that turned out to be enough to will either of the last two games.
Pitching and speed are no longer our only problems.

Agreed, I think we should avoid the play in game as we are one game ahead of the Citadel and really 2 with the tie-breaker. FU and Citadel both have UNCG at home and FU has ETSU on the road and Citadel has Mercer on the road. On the other hand it probably doesn't matter much.
