WCU had not given up less than 3 runs in any SoCon game this year. Today a pitcher giving up 7 runs a game goes the distance and the Paladins could manage only 1 run and 4 hits. Last week against 6th place ETSU, WCU gave up 11, 14 and 11 in their 3 games. FU is now only one game out of the play-in game with some tough games ahead. At the very least the Paladins are not very consistent.
Another Disappointing Loss
And the win makes WCU 5-39 on season...this was a must and should have been easy sweep
