You would think the students would turn out on Valentine’s night! Who wants to be studying?

Don't need the student seats for the next 2 home games as there are plenty available for UNCG and VMI but something needs to be done for the Wofford game. Don't want to see 300 empty seats because students won't show up. It was embarrassing last year when WC students set up shop in the FU student section.

With that said, let’s handle it in such a way that the Terrier fans don’t get their hands on them. Don’t just release them for general sale - find a way to get the students out or target them directly to Furman fans.

Furman jumps to 56th in latest NET rankings

UNCG is 45th, so an opportunity here for another really big win

Reasons for all Furman students to come to the FU-UNCG game:
1)-It should be a great game between two talented teams:
NET Rankings
Wofford # 27
UNCG #45
Furman # 56
ETSU #75.
2)- It is Valentine’s night! Who wants to be studying?
3)-You will probably learn more and get a broader liberal arts education by coming to the game.
4)-Andrew Brown and Clay Mounce promise to hit all their 3’s if you come.
5)-This is the last week-night home basketball game this year.
6)- Come see Matt Rafferty be Superman again.
7)-Come support your team in a huge game.

I’d rather have a 100 kids there with their faces painted purple & screaming their lungs out than 600 with their heads buried in phones. Just saying!

You should be happy come Thursday night. I expect the same or fewer students there vs. Saturday. The ones that were there Saturday did a great job.

Yes they did
The Lacrosse team was on the road Sat and should be here on Thurs, and I think we had less football team participation because they had a practice on Sat....so maybe better showings from those 2 teams which have traditionally been active participants at our home basketball games.

Looks like plenty of tickets available for the showdown with UNCG Thursday
http://fu6.glitnirticketing.com/futicke ... 1477445104
However Saturday ticket sales vs. VMI look to be doing good, please Furman don't save tickets expecting tons of students to show up, just go ahead and put them up for sale to the public, ie. in the endzone beside the band that was completely empty vs. ETSU, let's learn something from that and get it corrected
