by the way, just to be very clear, for those that haven't heard the story.....I didn't not use any vulgarity or personal insults in my short comment to the official. Just stated the fact that there had been no fouls called on WCU in 10 minutes....

Still makes me laugh.

It did. Jersey Mike's was a broadcast sponsor at the time and I remember posting that Dan Scott should've awarded him "sub of the game".

I got a text from Niko after the game, still have it, said “Paul you get the game ball tonite! That really sparked us and the crowd”.

It was amazing!

there was a game a few years I think Mercer at home when Furman was behind in the second half.
Small crowd, no energy. I started stomping on the metal flooring under the seats on the student side. A few others started and it got louder. Everytime Mercer brought the ball upcourt in the final part of the game the noise started and Mercer stumbled. You could clearly hear it on TV. Those student stands make a lot of noise when hundreds are stomping. Furman won. It was noisy, kinda obnoxious but it seemed to bring energy to the game. Maybe sometimes you gotta stomp or get kicked out or holler "DEFENSE" to help your team.


Dont worry my tickets are on the other side this year.
