They shoot well from 3 (37%) and are 132nd in offensive efficiency. They also rebound well on the offensive boards. One weakness they have on O is they turn it over alot, 304th in D1...and we are good at taking it away (28th in D1 in steals per game)
Defensively they are poor. 290th in overall defensive efficiency. They give up an effective FG% of 54.2%, 278th in D1 and that's one of our strengths (43rd in D1). They also don't block alot of shots and are 317th in steal %, the opposite of what we just faced.
In summary when they have the ball it's strength against strength and if we can force them to turn it over we will be good. When we have the ball it's strength against their weakness. If we play offensively like we can I see no reason why we shouldn't eclipse the 80 point mark forecast by Pomeroy.
With the pressure of a top 25 ranking, exam week and the LSU game looming this has all the makings of a huge "trap game". We need a loud rowdy home crowd to help pull the boys through to victory.

That's what I expect as well, the walk-up crowd for the CSU game was really large as well and Saturday should be the same.
Students are bonkers for this team right now with us undefeated and ranked, you don't need to worry I can guarantee its going to be a full house come 4pm Saturday!
If Tuesday's game was any indication, the student section should be over 1/2 full by 20 minutes prior to tip-off. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more students at the game this Saturday.

Indeed!
I unfortunately don’t live near Greenville anymore because of work and I can’t make the long drive to the home games. This brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy to see Furman students standing there with pride, and belief in these guys. GO FREAKING DINS!
