I would speculate it's probably part of a 2 for 1 or a 3 for 1 kind of deal. I'm sure the folks at UNC asked the same question about Wofford and Elon....

As far as the gym, according to Pomeroy it's the smallest D1 facility in the country....837 seats.

They just beat Western Michigan on the road, their first D1 win of the year (71-66)...coach is in his first year so it makes sense that they appear to be improving and playing better as they work into his system and style. Probably a better team today then their KenPom rank of #331....FWIW Western Michigan is ranked #232.....

Other games
L South Carolina 65-52
W Brevard 86-43
L VMI 78-72
L Portland 73-56
L Texas St 82-50
L Cal-Poly 75-74 OT
L Gardner-Webb 74-61
W Western Michigan 71-66

Pomeroy has them rated equally poor offensively and defensively,...they don't shoot well, the are prone to turning it over and don't rebound very well. But they seem to play decent defense, especially guarding 3 pt shooters, holding opponents to 28.6% from beyond the arc. On offense they get 40.6% of their points from 3 point shooting, although they are only shooting 32.2% as a team.

Reasonably experienced as they start 3 Sr's, but also 2 Fr.

They play @ Eastern KY tonite....

They have a small gym, might want to get your tickets ahead of time, it will probably fill up quick, tip-off is 4:30pm

I was there for the tournament game in '17...smallest D-I gym in the country.
Most Furman fans were behind the bench in General Admission. IIRC, their arena is opposite of ours in that the visiting team is to the left of the press pool. I'm assuming that Section G and F seats are already sold out/season tickets.

So...is there a section (besides behind the bench) that you guys would like to coordinate and try and fill with purple? There's a huge chunk of section A available....

Have never been to this arena but just bought two tickets for section A as I thought it was behind the visitor bench.. It was difficult to tell from the website.
I'm almost certain that Section A is directly across from our bench. From the photos and the seat map from their website, it looks like General Admission E is behind our bench.

Scores are all pretty close for the most part. I'm sure it won't be easy, but if we continue to play like we did against Elon, I believe we should be able to get another W on the road.

Correct section E is behind Furman bench. Any seat in the building will feel like right on top of court :D

It's not an arena, its a gym. Regardless I expect this to be a tough game!!
