That's a good projection FF23 but it could be

PG -PJ
SG- ED
SF - Vanderwal
PF - Hien or Hughey
C- Bowser

House, Johnston, and Anderson off the bench. I think Molnar and Humphries will figure in somewhere, just not sure where.

Need more shooters than those 2 lineup projections, Iā€™m thinking.

I think House has more shooting capabilities than Ben Vanderwal. I was really disappointed with Candy. I think he has regressed since his freshman year. Maybe Humphries can fill the role? He was an excellent shooter in HS.

Hien started 23 games last season and 31 the season before. Hughey started 20 games and Vanderwahl started 10 including the last 7. I doubt there will be 3 players who have never started in the opening lineup this year. For no reason other thanthan the desire to avoid too much pressure on them. Richey has shown that he will adjust the lineup game to game depending on who is playing well. The starters at the end of the season could be very different from the beginning of the season.

apaladin also mentioned the shooting situation. Richey prefers having at least 3 or 4 shooters out there at all times. That could be a case for starting Anderson, who was a career 43%+ three point shooter at Barry College. Also, who is the backup at point guard? If it is Bronson that would make it more likely that he would be coming off the bench fresh.

So will Bronson be healthy come November?

Hope it is before then. Hard to shoot with a boot on your foot. Needs time to get back in the groove. Maybe we will see come Wednesday or maybe CBR will give us an update Monday?

My two cents:

PG: PJay Smith
SG: Nick Anderson
SF: Ben VanderWal
PF: Tyrese Hughey
C: Cooper Bowser

Hien, Bronson, House, Johnston, and Humphries will round out the rotation. I don't know where Molnar slots into this

Could be but Johnston is probably a more polished player at this point than Bowser experience wise.

I think you got the backcourt right, but the front looks kinda shaky to me.

Dave mister I agree. Not convinced VanderWal can shoot anymore after last season. Saw him give up way too many good looks.

I would replace Ben with House or Humphries to provide more shooting.

Any chance the big transfer kid from VPI gets playing time?
