Bothwell's team won Friday night and will play for the championship of the 8 team tournament. Bothwell started and scored 9 points. His threes weren't falling as well (1-4) as his first game when he hit 4-5 but he helped his team to an easy victory (by 11.) One of his teammates is a San Diego State guy.

Jake Stephens may be helping his chances. He had 17 points and 14 rebounds in his last game. His team finished 2-1

Bothwell's team won the championship 91-87. Bothwell started and had 11 points on 5-8 shooting, 2 rebs. 2 steals and 1 assist. His team built a huge early lead of 53-28 by halftime which maxed at 27 early in the third quarter.

A quick look at the roster is a snapshot of where college basketball has gone the past few years. Bothwell is one of only two guys of the eight who stayed at the same school his entire career. The other guy was at his school for six years. Three guys on the roster were at their third stop.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
