A great moment captured on TV. A “touching”, “feel good “ interview.
When JP made the shot, I had a friend call me to congratulate me. I told him. “the game is not over , call me back when it is over”. Based on last year where we were ahead with 4 seconds left, I knew that anything could happen. And in all reality, Virginia’s last shot was “too close”. I am thankful that Virginia did not have a miracle like UTC did last year.

You are so right about the game not being over.
When the click stopped, I saw the remaining time as 2.2 seconds, but the 0.2 seconds were added somehow and it showed 2.4 seconds remaining! In a situation such as that, 2.4 seconds was a lot of time.
And Griselda’s apparent praying represented what so many other Furman supporters were also doing at that same time! Faith can move a mountain!
