Coach Meyer has left to take a spot at College Of Charleston. Interested to see if his position is filled this close to the season.

Wonder if this affects the recruiting of Ques Glover. Article from last winter quoted him talking about Coach Meyer being very involved in his recruiting.

He does have an offer from there according to Verbal Commits.

CofC got a commitment from a guard yesterday. It was their second guard commit - both listed as point guards. They have 3 commits so far and no available spots according to the Verbal Commits chart.

In May College of Charleston hired Mantoris Robinson, an assistant coach for 4 years at App. State, to be their director of recruiting.

Now Robinson has moved to an assistant coach job at CofC and they hired Meyer, an assistant coach at Furman, to be their director of recruiting.

Does Charleston pay enough to lure assistant coaches from Furman and App. State to Charleston to take support staff jobs?

Curious.

Probably.

Maybe App has a similar budget to CoC but if money was equal I’d rather be a basketball coach at CoC than App.

HC makes almost 2x what Bob R makes so I’d assume that trickles down in some fashion to the asst coach budget

Remember that C of C doesn't have football, so they can spend a significant amount on the other sports. They have always been good at basketball and baseball, as I recall.
