Hearing Mounce looking good and may start, with Gurley being the first big man off the bench. Also Bothwell really impressive and may be in line for significant minutes at both G spots.Paul C wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 6:19 pmHere's what I think....
PG - Alex Hunter
SG - Jordan Lyons
F - Andrew Brown
F - Noah Gurley
Post - Matt Rafferty
I think both G spots will have Fr spelling the starters, you'll see Jaylon Pugh get some minutes backing up Hunter at PG and Bothwell will get some minutes at the 2G.
In the frontcourt Williams will spell Rafferty in the post much like last year, and Mounce will get time at the F spots.
I'd say those 9 are pretty good bets....the wild card is uber-athletic Tre Clark. Can he get into the rotation as a defensive stopper and athletic wing? He's not a threat from 3 but if he can defend well and penetrate and finish he could get some decent minutes.
I was really impressed with Mounce and his ability to run the floor and his explosiveness. Hoping he's taken a big step over the summer because he could be special in the SoCon.Paul C wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 8:44 pmHearing Mounce looking good and may start, with Gurley being the first big man off the bench.
