No question this game should easily be a sellout and an electric atmosphere as we host Missouri Valley Conference member Belmont

From a quick glance at the rosters it looks like we offered three players on last year's Belmont roster. Grayson Murphy - their star point guard,Will Richard - their star freshman wing, and Isaiah Walker - freshman wing who appears to have redshirted last year. It looks like J.P Pegues is the only player on our roster who was also offered by Belmont.DungeonRealm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 9:39 amWe have been recruiting a good bit against Belmont lately, smoking these dudes could aid in our recruiting efforts down the road

Adam Kunkel - guard from Tennessee who had an excellent soph. year at Belmont and transferred to Xavier also had a Paladin offer ( although we may have stopped recruiting him after Andrew Taylor committed.)
Richard used his strong freshman year as a ticket to move on to Florida for next year.
Two players we offered this spring - Scharnowski and Rogers - chose to accept a Belmont offer instead. Most of those guys got an offer from the Paladins before they got one from Belmont. Rogers and Pegues are the only guys they offered first.
Belmont will be playing younger players next season. They have only two of their top six players back. They are a team that seems to rely heavily on their top five or six guys, They will be without over 59% of their scoring and over 59% of their rebounding and 70% of their assists from last year's team.
