1. Return of CBR. Check
2. Return of Both and Slaw. Incomplete but looking good.
3. Increase salary for CBR and basketball budget. Hopefully but no information for the public.
4. Sign quality player to fill out the roster. Check. Whit is It.
5. Improve out of conference competition. Incomplete but Charleston Classic is a major step forward.
6. Major renovation of Timmons Arena. Incomplete. I’m hearing Athletics staff is seriously pitching proposals but no announced takers. Lots of reason to renovate. Start with CBR wants it.
7. Sign new assistant coach. Lots of potential candidates who love to work under CBR. Incomplete.
8. Develop players and team during summer and fall workouts. Begin determination of player rotation. Incomplete.
9. Develop fan base. Lots of groups. Students, Alumni, staff, retirees, Residents of Greater Greenville not affiliated with a another college. Lots of subsets such as kids, churches, recreational leagues, corporate outings etc etc. I do believe we have made a lot of progress but more is needed until we fill every seat for every game at least at Timmons. We need lots of ideas and a strong commitment. We have an excellent compelling face of the program in CBR. Lets bill our base and make our home court a true advantage.
10. Improve FU Athletics by increasing gifts to overall Athletic Fund in general and in particular to Furman Mens
Basketball Fund. Any time is a good time to give. Dins Day 2022 is coming up soon.
11. Win Socon Championship and get in the NCAA tourney. We will know March 2023. Hopefully that will be a big CHECK.

Great list!

Just to add.. Dins bball is probably at a 40 year high in terms of hope. There is a small window of opportunity to put a chock in it. We all know that CBR wont be around forever. Foundations need to be in place to keep the progress rolling

All to say, that a Timmons renovation and endowment of coaches salaries should be PRI#1 as the excitment they would generate would make the FUture very bright. Next to FB, Bball is a big revenue generator so investment now would payoff.

Gville is growing and people will be looking for entertainment. The people coming in are not CU loyalists. This would be a great time to make Dins their "Home Team". This only comes with winning and a real gameday experience

Sorry,, just my two cents... again

[*]You are right. It took us 40 years to get here. We need to capitalize while we can and the opportunity is in front of us. We don’t want to slide into mediocrity and wait for another 40 year cycle.

Most of that 40-year period was spent getting nowhere. FU Basketball as we know it today started with the return of NM. Let's keep it going.

Heart jumped a sec when SD saw the $10M and Trones. Thanks to the Trones. If they wanted to help mental health, any idea how many it would have helped if it had been for Timmons? :D

Generous gift from the Trones to FU. I’m sure it will contribute to student life and well being. However, I’m waiting to hear an announcement regarding donations and renovations for Timmons. I understand it is being pitched. I hope that they find a donor or donors soon as the season is not far away and I’d like to see some major or minor improvements this year.

Personally I feel once we win the SoCon this year and go back to the NCAA's that's when we are going to see the funding finally show up, very important that we take care of business on the court to keep this energy rolling full steam ahead!

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
