Last season's out-of-conference schedule was delightful for we fans, though a bit of a gamble for Coach & the team. Looking back, is Coach happy with the team's development playing the more ambitious schedule? Looking forward, if the opportunity presents itself again will Coach sign-up for a similarly strong OOC?

For Jason Donnelly:
1) How did it come about that we landed in the Charleston Classic tournament?
2) Jason's thoughts on how the transfer portal effects college basketball overall?
3) With Jay Wright stepping away at Villanova will this make them more or less likely to ever play us again? lol
4) How much money will we need to raise in order to begin the next phase of Timmons renovations?
5) How much money would a P6 team be looking for us to guarantee them to come play us at Bon Secours Wellness Arena?
6) How can we generate even more excitement within the Furman fan base with regard to getting more folks to travel 1 hour to Asheville for the SoCon tournament?
7) Are we doing everything within our abilities to give Bob Richey the best possible contact? Can we offer Bob Richey a lifetime contract?
For Bob Richey if he joins:
1) How does he feel about how the transfer portal has worked out for Furman the past two years, and for the SoCon in general?
2) Does he want to schedule as many P6 teams as possible next year or go a bit easier on the schedule front?
3) How does he feel about our roster make-up for next season? Will we be able to play a bit bigger at times than this past season?
4) How many starting positions does he see up for grabs that players will be battling for this offseason?
5) With the rapid transfer situation, how does he feel about redshirting players, does he still favor it when possible?
6) Does he feel next season could be his best opportunity yet with so much talent coming back to get Furman back into the NCAA's? Has he fully gotten over the heart breaker in the Championship game this past season?
7) Finally, he clearly loves leading Furman to greater heights every season, what does he envision Furman basketball's peak as a program could be in the long run if we all work together to keep building something special?

For Jason Donnelly:
Is there a reason why Furman doesn't license more sports paraphernalia, such as football and basketball jerseys? I would love to display some Furman jerseys around town when everyone is wearing their Clemson or Carolina gear.

Two for CBR:
Will Jonny Lawrence play next year?
His thought on the new transfer and how he thinks he will fit in?

For Coach Richey
Did Alex Hunter help at all in recruiting Carter Whitt to FU, and is it safe to call Leesville Road HS a pipeline now?

DR- I think I can answer your #1. Remember we replaced Penn who dropped out and then it was canceled so the Charleston Classuc owed us one.

Probably more of a complaint than a question, but FUBeAR will pretend he’s on Jeopardy…
1) WHY…when Atlanta, GA is either the #1 or #2 metro location for Alumni FU Football Players, and with this Friday & Saturday (4/22 & 4/23) being the FFPA’s Vince Perone Golf Classic & Social (all on campus at Furman), which is, each year, the largest single gathering of Alumni FU Football Players and a huge fund-raising event for the Football Program, is the “Furman’s Leadership Through Innovation and Athletics” event, featuring Furman’s Chief Innovation Officer Anthony Herrera and Director of Athletics Jason Donnelly discussing the latest happenings and their future plans for Furman’s leadership through innovation and athletics, being held in Atlanta on Friday 4/22?
FUBeAR would love to attend this event in Atlanta and would be extremely excited to hear about this topic, but he has an 11:15 AM Tee Time at the FU Golf Course on Friday…along with several other ATL-resident FU Football Alumni. He is confident that more than a few other FU Football Alumni would have been in attendance at JD the AD’s event in ATL, but will be making their way to The Mothership on Friday instead.
2) Will (or I guess “Were” is more accurate tense-wise) the speaker parts of this event in ATL recorded & will they be published online?
…Let’s synch these kinds of things up a bit better next time, Team - THANKS!!!!
3) Thoughts on the CAA emulating and even surpassing the Big Sky as an FCS “Mega-Conference”…and seeming to want to add even more with rumors of Howard defecting the MEAC to join the CAA??? Any impact to the SoCon?

Dan - just noticed this post is in the Basketball Forum.
Looked back and saw that you posted these ‘calls for questions’ in the Football Forum during Football season and then in the Basketball Forum during Basketball season. Although hoops season ended almost 2 months ago, it probably makes sense to post it here since you may have Coach Richey on with y’all…but just thinking it might make sense to always post these calls for AD questions in the “Other Furman Sports” Forum.
Dunno how most of the users here view threads/posts/etc. In prior iterations of TheUFFP / GoPaladins.com, FUBeAR just went to the Football Forum to read/reply. Now he uses the “Search Unread Posts” function. Woulda missed this post using the prior method.
Or…OTOH, maybe nobody ever looks in “Other Furman Sports” and it would make no sense to post these there…just something to think about…you’re the Pro…no doubt you’ll land on what’s best.

1. Sounds like terrible scheduling to have 2 big FFPA events on the same day.
2. I think most peeps, including myself check football and basketball. Used to check baseball but…..

Another for JD
We can play 12 games in 2024 and 2025. We need to schedule 2 for 2024 and one for 2025. Since we have such a hard time scheduling ooc home game will you consider playing 2 FBS games those years?

To be clear…
…the ATL Event is… “Graciously hosted by Furman Athletics, Furman Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and The Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement.” So…NOT an FFPA Event per se.
…the Event at FU Campus is FFPA & FU Football sponsored/led/hosted.
Just seems poorly timed to get all the FU Alumni Football Players in ATL up to Greenville on the same day that this interesting (for many of those FU Alumni Football Players…among other FU Alums & Parents) event is being held in Atlanta.

How much money will need to be raised in order for the Timmons renovations to happen? Will the school be willing to help fund some of the renovation processes?

The left hand can't always know what the right hand is doing. There's also logistical issues, like availability of sites for an out-of-town event. sometimes, we have to make a choice, based on our priorities.
