And what would have been the start of the curse? Every self respecting curse has a start...such as:

ok thats fair. The second part of the curse is how to end it. Some common techniques are:

rain dance
seance
exorcism
burning somebody at the stake
sacrificing something (which would not be PC these days)
Tearing down some structure (ahem ahem)
etc

I’d like to recommend a few for the sacrifice.

Do we get to watch them break the curse before we are sacrificed though

We break the curse by winning the Tourney.

Memorial arena was imploded on September 20, 1997. Before that 6 NCAA appearances. After that, 0.

Throw in some lousy coaching hires and there you have it.

The curse was lousy choices in regards to basketball. Fast fwd, choices are better now but still living with stuff from the past IMHO

Memorial Auditorium had a 17 year drought before it was imploded so that is a non-factor.
