Quick turnaround for us, but really nice to see the team coming together and playing solid ball.
That Woff blowout win was for you Fessor, and last night we kept it going, hoping Samford and Vmi turn out the same to get us to 20 wins and some serious momentum heading towards the final 2 road games and then that tourney we have all been waiting for!

Love this team, but gotta figure out the free throw situation heading down the stretch. Dead last by a long shot in conference play at 67.4%. The Citadel is next to last at 71.0%. Can and will get you beat. Only made it to 70% four of 14 times in conference games after being really strong in non-conference action.

Samford, in my opinion, is kinda like Mercer, a dangerous team . If we play well, we can certainly beat them. If we play poorly, they can certainly beat us. We need to beat either Samford or Western on the road. I am hoping we win tomorrow !

Devin Sibley is hitting 44.2% of his FTs in SoCon play. The rest of the team is hitting 73.6% Before getting hurt against Winthrop he was hitting 93%. Last year he hit 75% for the season. I think I figured it out.

Last time we played Samford, Sibley didn't play. And Mounce only logged 7 min. Assuming Mounce is good to go today we will be a different look for them

Awesome half. Blazing hot from the field, outstanding passing. Sibley is 1-1 from the FT line. :P

Samford Coach is not a happy camper. Poor team defense.

Any person that pretends to be an announcer should learn to pronounce the name RAFFERTY. Its not hard and he butchered it the same way last year.

There must have been four different pronunciations - Raff-er-ty, Raff-er-ry, Raft-er-ry, and Raft-er-ty. The number and placement of the letter T was a real mystery for them.

Our passing and movement away from the ball was excellent, especially in the first half, against their traps and double teams. Also our guards were very strong and aggressive at taking advantage of physical mismatches. They have some super quick guards but they give up height and muscle and we used that advantage the way you should.

How about Andrew Brown - 20 points on 8-11 FG and 4-7 from 3 point land, 7 rebounds, 4 assists. Sibley with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Davis with 14 points and 4 assists. Rafferty with a double-double - 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists. Fowler with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists. That is a lot of players contributing in a lot of ways.

I think we were 16 of 20 on 2pt FGs in the first half. That’s astounding. Also had 16 assists in the half. About as perfect as you can play on O.
