UTC beat ETSU 53-51

They have suddenly became the hottest team in the league. Today they won their 4th win in a row and 5th in the last 6. Those 4 wins in a row included wins at etsu and WC 2 places the ‘dins can’t win at, so that’s impressive. The good news is that they have a home game with etsu and a road game with uncg and we don’t have to play them again.

UTC hung on and ETSU 53-51. ETSU and WC now have 5 losses each.

The UTC-ETSU game tonight had a crazy finish. Chattanooga lead almost the entire game although it was close the whole way. Chattanooga had a 9 point lead once but mostly it was 4-6 points. ETSU got a chance when UTC missed some late free throws. Chattanooga fouled twice late. Both fouls probably strategic. The second foul sent a Buc to the line for 2 shots with 4 seconds left. The shooter hit the first and missed the second intentionally. The Bucs got the rebound and hit a 3 point shot for the apparent win but their coach had called time out. They missed the three pointer after the TO and Chattanooga got the win.
