Website says tickets will be delivered digitally in late December. I haven’t seen anything has anyone? I bought mine when they went on sale.

I see the lower level sideline seats are sold out, whuch is good. Still lower end zone and upper level side and end zone available.

If we take care of VMI and Citadel to remain unbeaten in the SoCon hopefully we should be able to get a pretty good size crowd in there against ETSU on Saturday Jan. 16th

Generally, tickets for events are "released" into our accounts just before the event. Relax.

I don’t understand. How does this support Furman’s effort to bring students back to campus when none of them can go to the game?

I don’t either FU has some screwed up leadership these days. Season is slowly falling apart. A shame FU at the well will not get featured on national tv now. This move could cost the university a good chunk of change. I imagine there will be those who will want a refund for the whole 4 game package. So how long has FU known when the students are coming back? Yet they wait until the week before the game and pull this stunt? All the ads, selling tickets etc just a big expense and waste of everyones time. They should alter their ads ” Weekends at the Well unless we change our mind”.Just who would have come up with this idea at the last minute? Smells very ED like.

It is a fact that the pandemic continues to mess up sports. The people in charge are doing the best jobs possible.

It helps bring students back to campus "safely" by not needlessly exposing the players and any students that would have gone to the game to 4k ppl in an indoor setting. Everyone wants to play the games with fans, but right now they need to ensure they have a season. They can control the environment at Timmons much more easily than at the Well. It's not ideal, but I don't see how this is hard to understand.
On the plus side, there will now be two nationally broadcast games at Timmons this year.

I’m guessing it has more to do with protecting fans from each other than protecting players from fans. Basketball season is just gonna suck and that’s the way it is. I’m just hoping for a pretty normal spring football season. But I doubt there will be more than 4 games.

Have any of you considered the possibility this decision was not made in a vacuum but in concert with the City and The Well? I’m confident Pres Davis did not unilaterally pull the plug.
I initially reacted similarly but my wife set me straight. I’m as frustrated as anyone; I have missed only one home game so far. I’m a junkie. But I do believe Furman is doing the best it can under difficult circumstances
Your anger should be directed at the failed leadership of this state and nation.

Sorry, have to disagree with you on this one, Charlie. Furman was promoting the event as recently as a week ago. The well is continuing to host other events safely including the swamp rabbits. Don’t think ED made the decision unilaterally, but I’d be curious to know how many tickets had been sold and if this was a move to not play in front of a large, fairly empty arena. Really don’t think the state and local government is stopping Furman basketball but not other events downtown.
