Two really tough road games this week to say the least. This could be a great week or it may be a reality check. Both games are winnable and we certainly could lose either or both. Both Alabama and Winthrop will, I think give us a good gage to where we are. Should be an interesting week and hopefully one that will go well for the Paladins. Go ‘Dins! Beat ‘Bama!

Haslametrics predicts 8 point loss at Alabama and a 1 point win at Winthrop. Alabama is better IMO than Cincinnati, so a Furman victory could prove problematic. CBR has to have the Paladins playing much better defense if Furman is to beat Alabama. Good team defense played by Furman and the week could be positive on both away courts.

Yes. Agree with everything you say.
I still say, though, that if we do not beat Alabama, then, as I see it, we will not have anything to brag about unless and until we run the table on the rest of the regular season plus win the SoCon Tournament plus win 2 games in the NCAA Tournament; or, alternatively, if we somehow get to the quarterfinals of the NIT.
Have to beat Alabama.

I’m hoping Furman can play their game Tuesday night and don’t worry about the name on the other jerseys. If we can do that we have a good chance. ESPN gives us a 1 in 3 chance.

I just hope we play well. Not so much at Cincy.
