Gotta contain Dotson ... in the second half of the first game, he was 9-9 with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Thankfully he also strung together 5 fouls in one half and fouled out. If he does that again, it's going to be hard to win. Someone will have to step up and play good D on him, even if it limits them on offense.

If he does start to get going we should stick Beeker in there to hack the crap out of him, Dotson is a 55% FT shooter

Yes, that will be the key to this game. Dotson is too bulky for our big. We had a tough time on the boards against Mercer but their big guy couldn't make layups. Dotson can and will. We need to stop the ball from getting into him by filling the passing lanes and playing real tight on the guards like we did against Mercer. Deflections were a big part of that defensive effort. Faulkner did a great job of feeding Dotson down low in the last game and he needs to be glued shut.
On the other end of the court, we need to have our bigs go right at him early and try to get him in foul trouble - to which he is prone.
In the absence of either of those brilliant ideas working, we should just shoot lots of 3's, make 50%+ of them and win handily.
