Mercer, UTC and Sammy shot well. 2 of 3 won and Sammy played UTC.

Last night was an abysmal shooting performance. I personally think we rely too heavily on the 3 pointer. We got very lucky last night to win a game that shouldn't have been close. You won't win the SOCON tournament without an inside game, which we don't go to enough.

I am thrilled that we adjusted to our 3 point woes with ways to get good shots within 10 feet, including some easy layups. It was our inside game that worked last night. Good teams make good adjustments. We did that and it brought us another win. We will get our 3 point touch back next week against Mercer.

You speak blasphemy, my friend. The 3 point shot is our best friend and is sure to take us to the promised land. We launched 25 of those beauties last night against the worst team in the league at home and nailed 3 of them; the last of which was all net at a most propitious time. It was the "difference maker". A win is a win - ETSU lost - we're up in the "pom-poms" and all is well. It's a good thing too. If the Dins lost that game in front of the alumnus/General, the whole team would have been on a 10 mile, nighttime, forced march, in full gear with max ammo and no rations.
