Hard to believe Furman's dominance over Mercer in basketball. MU has historically had a good team, and Furman, for whatever reason, has just had their number.
The all time series is now 17-10 in favor of the Paladins. We have won 9 straight games. Mercer had won 5 straight games before we knocked them off in the 2015 SoCon tournament quarterfinals. Mercer came to the Brown Box in the early 70's during the days of DJ Jackson and Bernard Collier. The game went to triple overtime with the Bears winning 118-115. Ranks right up there as one of the greatest games played at the facility. MInd you this was before the 3 point line and Bernard was filling it up from the concession stand. Great game.

VMI has one more game on 12/29 against Upstate before they play us on Jan. 1st
We should move up significantly after we beat ETSU. Although I noticed that Steve Forbes of ETSU is one of the voters for this poll.

I thinking seriously about going to the FU VMI game. Just wondering if any other Paladin fans are planning to make the trip?
