I am very appreciative of the fantastic turnout by the students!! The turnout by the Furman fans could have been better, but the excellent turnout by the students made it an overall good turnout !!

I do not think Loyola is the team that they were two years ago, but regardless, it was a very good win !

I am looking forward to the season!!

Students were great tonight. Loved the Lacrosse team in their helmets! Even the pep band was there.

Now...how can we get the same turnout and enthusiasm for football?

There were students tailgating in the parking lot! I think the students know that basketball is much more exciting than football. The Loyola coach even noticed the students, going to them before tipoff to acknowledge their great turnout. All fans were loud last night, from the young kids to the oldest senior citizens. It’s a beautiful thing to behold.
