Big donation for practice facility or games at the Well

My guess, which is totally just a guess is game(s) at the Well or participation in big holiday hoops tournament next year. Games at the Well would be my first guess since JD has been quoted as saying this will happen.

To me games at downtown arena wouldn’t constitute a huge announcement unless it’s for next year and it’s Duke, UNC, etc. I hope it’s a practice facility. Or a major contract extension for BR.

If it is games at the downtown arena I would think it would be for next year and would be in the Duke/UNC area. Just another thought maybe a 4 team tourney(CU, SC, WC, FU).

The tweet tagged @furmanwbb (in addition to @furmanu and @furmanhoops). I'd expect whatever it is will benefit both programs, so I'm leaning toward a practice facility.

I think ya'll are thinking way too big. I think it's something pretty mundane. My guess is coach Richey adopted a dog or the team is retiring Alex Opacic's jersey.

Could be a major remodel of Timmons I guess. A practice facility would be nice but not really exciting. I would rather see money spent on a renovation of Timmons or a new arena(pipe dream). I think someone said that there are plans drawn up somewhere for a Timmons remodel? Could be just an announcement of a major fund raising campaign for a new arena.

I’m thinking it’s the major improvements to Timmons and the practice facility.

Maybe they've hired a different company to handle game day parking?

Yes! That would be huge.

Demolition of Timmons and a complete do-over?

Free all you can eat corn dogs at halftime with beefed up security in and around the concession areas.

The Press conference is at the Well this morning. That is a big hint.
