I was at the Furman-Georgia State football game. For the first half, Jordan Lyons and Tre Clark sat next to me in the stands.
I can't imagine better representatives of Furman or the basketball program. They were patient and generous with their time and attention to young and old alike. They display maturity, intelligence, and judgment far beyond their years. They present themselves in exactly the way you would want your sons to present themselves.
I presume that this is a result, to some degree, of the leadership of Furman's coaching staff (as well as justifiably proud parents). If Furman consistently produces young men like this, the school and its basketball program are recruiting, coaching, and teaching in the best possible way.
Most of you may already know this, but if you haven't had the pleasure, it'd be worth the effort to meet them.
