Maybe so, but why would he want to? He plays Georgia next week.
He may be a Good Guy - obviously very popular, but being a Good Guy is not necessarily the only reason he did not “make things worse for us last night”. Nor is it necessarily the only reason he came over to speak with Coach Richey. And yes, I realize they very well may already be best of friends.

Observation: Our basketball team was in attendance, supporting their fellow student-athletes. And they stayed until the end.
