Announcers “suck” because they recognize the level of play. Both teams “suck” on D because while big shot after big shot is made with guys draped all over them. GoFurman is obviously free to express is opinions but this was simply disrespectful to the game.

Also it wasn’t high level play WHEN THE ANNOUNCERS SAID IT. Guy hits wide open three in second half…. Announcer “that’s high level basketball!” no. That’s a good shot WIDE OPEN. Strong offense. Good stuff. But ITS HORRIFIC DEFENSE. these announcers were bragging on high level basketball at times of NO DEFENSE … on specific plays of no defense ! It’s the typical fan bias of offense and not paying attention to defense. Move your feet

Proud of this team. Overachieved. 25-9 and a Champ game appearance when folks like Apaladin predicted a sub 500 reg season and play in game for the tourney.

Great kids. Great coaches. Couldn’t be prouder of this group. A season that exceeded everyone’s expectations.

What sucks is a 25-9 season and runner up in one of the top mid major leagues in the country and no NIT bid. They deserve it.

This is WRONG. Maybe we deserve an NIT. I’ll let that go. But WE ARE NOT RUNNER UP in even the SoCon. We are FIFTH in SoCon standings for the whole year. FIFTH. Don’t facts hurt. Jk.

I'm a little nervous to be posting in this forum right now, but I'm proud of the season we had. Would have like to see us play in the tournament again but such is life. I feel good about next year; we'll finally have a new and improved Timmons Arena and I think by November we'll all be energized again. Not sure how the transfer portal/eligibility mess will shake up but I have trust in this program. Forever proud to be a Din.

That’s the beauty of this program and this staff. CBR isn’t perfect but he usually finds a way.

Can’t win em all as much as we’d like to.

A shame a team with a 25-9 record and winners of 6 of 7 has no place to go. Will miss watching Pjay play, he was a baller and as clutch as they come. Nick Anderson too. Now the long drought begins without FU spectator sports. Almost 6 months until football.

I’m proud too. Very positive. Really was just annoyed at a few things one being announcers who, when a WIDE OPEN 3 was hit (some were tough but some were wide open. One was a dagger lat by Woffd) saying that’s “great basketball “ .. NO. THATS GREAT OFFENSE. there were some bad defensive possessions. But announcers don’t watch D unless it’s a block maybe. Announcers would love a 110-100 game. Which is horrible. 80-33. Now that’s basketball ! DOMINATE. Play DEFENSE !!!
