It's been fun watching Slawson, would love to see him find his 3 point shot. Unfortunately his teammates don't really find him open for the 3 ball, most of them play selfish basketball, so when he is getting a 3 up its been more forced shots so far..................

yep. it was so clear how much chucking there was. Slaw goes to his spot but they never look for him. The 1st guy to ge the ball... usually Ford, goes for the shot. The 3s he is taking are not good looks but he has no choice

FYI The Kings G-league team is the Stockton Kings, Stockton, Ca.
The Cavaliers G-league team is the Cleveland Charge in Cleveland of course.

Biggest thing Slawson will need to work on in his G-League games is his ball control/handling.......................

Yep, 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist but 4 turnovers tonight in 18 minutes.
Mike Bothwell 0 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block in 9 minutes.

This has to be the most boring basketball there is. Very selfish play. No "team" play. Too much, "Give me the ball and I'll shoot, whether I have a good shot or not." Validation of my decision years ago to not to watch the NBA. Slaw's teammates take poor shots when Slaw is open with a good look.

Flag, this is Summer League and those guys play selfish to try to make a roster. Most NBA teams are all about team ball. The coaches see selfish play and will not reward it. I used to think the same way as you, but have come to appreciate the fact that NBA is fun basketball to watch, or at least by the top teams.

Seems like the general scheme is put Slawson and another in the baseline corners and let the other kings play 3 on 3 vs the other team.
