Was thinking we were #66 but like you said it is constantly changing. Will be interesting to see the Net rankings tomorrow.

Back to #68 now. Just where we started the day.....true it doesn’t really matter but i thought we’d move up a few spots since we won by a greater margin than he forecast.

Not much to add on game commentary, thought we could have won by 30 if we really wanted to.

Hated seeing Noah pick up some silly fouls again. That 4th was a doozy. Why get a foul 30 ft from the basket.....

Nice to see Clay starting to get his groove back. He’d been in a several week modest slump compared to how he played in Nov/Dec...

And BTW, aside from one bad 3 pt attempt that got partially blocked I thought Jordan played one of his most “mature” games tonight. Under control and passed up some iffy shots for better passes.

Just noticed Slawson had 3 steals, 3 blocks and 3 assists. And Tre was leading rebounder with 6. Well done!

I don't recall seeing a player have so much effect on a game without scoring as Tre Clark is now demonstrating. This kid is a major disruptor of an offense. He is constantly getting his hand on the ball to deflect passes, closing passing lanes, rebounding, etc. - a coaches dream. Perhaps its a good thing that he doesn't have a shooting touch. He'd likely be playing at Kentucky.

I've started thinking the same thing. His defense is elite for college. I will take the lack of a scoring threat for that type of defense. Every great team has one of those guys.

Love Tre Clark's defense. If he could just get his FT% up from .385 to .500, I'd be a happy camper.

I'll risk another good-natured jab from CharlieFU and offer again the Rick Barry free-throw style. Numerous youtube videos demonstrate the technique and discuss the philosophy behind his 90% FT average and place in the Hall of Fame.

It's just so confounding to watch someone so capable elsewhere on the court be foiled by a handicap that can be moderated.

I would try anything. But pride goeth before the fall; players don’t like the “optics.”

Alas (sigh), agreed.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
