I keep hearing Clemson is really coming after Franklin. What is keeping him from jumping ship if a team like Clemson offers him $500,000? Are any of the "signees" really signed?

From buddies or people that would actually know?

Also, would be interested to know if it's the coaching staff, or boosters with cash to burn.

It’s NIL money.

No the Clemson payroll department. They built a building last year for their athletic payroll department. NIL is something old school where you actually had to do something to get paid. Now it is just pay for play.

Certainly could be the case, I was between Smith and Humphries at the backup 3 spot, should be a good battle between them for PT!

Do we have any indication that he can also share the ball & provide strong defense? I can't imagine we'd recruit a glory-hog, but that would be one way to avg. 30+ per game.

We're graduating our top two scorers. I think we'll need a scorer more than a sharer.

If this guy is good for THAT MANY points I don't know that we want him sharing a lot with those who can't score.
