And next year is a rebuilding year.
As for this year, we can win this conference, but the tournament is unlikely because we can’t play 3 good games in a row.

We drove up there 2 years ago for a new year's day game. They sold tickets for $1.00.

Don’t think the effort was there the whole game. VMI just played bad too in the first half but picked it up the second half and we continued to play bad.

Quit kidding yourself. We have ZERO chance to win the SoCon. ZERO! I agree it will be another quick trip to Asheville.

Second half was worst stretch of the season. No real attempt to play fast, lousy spacing and slow ball movement in our half court O. Even with that we missed about 3 games worth of open 3 pointers. Burn the film and move on to the next one.

VMI was clearly the better team today. If we could box up everyone’s best game we would be a top ten team. But we are so INCONSISTENT that it is frustrating.

Generally, the hustle is there. But much of the time we are our own worst enemy. We have two players who just don’t have the hands to be driving between folks and unfortunately we have only one big man. We need two more Rafferty’s who can give you that steady easy certain inside basket when you need it. Living and dying by the 3 is not going to be the answer at a Furman unless you have a few really dynamic pure shooters.

We let STEPHENS eat us up in the second half.

We need to recruit better but maybe no one could do better than CBR.

At ETSU we feel your pain. Right now ETSU is playing with guards and a few small forwards. Absolutely zilch inside game. One and done in the tourney for us most likely.

Is UTC that good? I didn’t think so but they looked real goud against the Bucs.
