First time I have checked the board to the answer to my original question.
Overall win-wise, I think we have over-achieved slightly. I do not think we have brought our A game on quite a few nights. I do not think we have played our best game of the season yet. I think our best is yet to come. If our top 7 ever play well on the same night, the sky is the limit. So in summary, even with our inconsistency, I think we have over-achieved. Still waiting for that magical game.

I just checked VegasInsider.com (https://www.vegasinsider.com/college-ba ... eam/furman). If we'd just bet the line on the 21 opportunities, we'd have "won" 11/21. Yes, that includes games like the last time we met WCU for which the closing line was FU by -11.5, but we only won by 4. That resulted in a "loss", but the OP question was whether we've over/under performed. Vegas doesn't lie; FU has marginally over-performed.
